Les gîtes du Solitary

  • This cottage for 4/5 people warmly decorated in red / green, newly renovated, occupies a separate wing of our beautiful seventeenth century basalt stone farm.

    Why Red / Green?
This is an old story ...
For 20 years, we welcomed people as a Bed and Breakfast guest House.

We proposed, among other things, a "red" room and a "green" room. (The decor, of course!) So when we decided, in 2003, to movve to the formula "Gite Rural", we renovated this old stable and wanted to keep some of its past and its colors.

    Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms.

  • “We had a pleasant stay, the area is superb! We also plan to come back next summer. Thank you to Jose for his wonderful hospitality and kindness. Scenery and tranquility are the watchwords of this cottage and the hamlet. We leave with memories of the sun and full heart ... Surely see you soon!”

“The well named Solitary. A haven of peace, lost in the mountain, "at the end of the world", told us the Ardeche people we met. A big thank you for the warm welcome we have received (we enjoyed the good peach jam, he small drink with Jose and the advice he gave us...) See you soon.”

    Sathicq Family, 15 august 2009

“Thank you for the dream vacation we spent. The place is really great: horses, small hikes, dives into the river. See you Soon I hope.”
